Hotel Regina Barcelona

From start to finish, my stay was just so welcoming and comfortable. The room was stunning, featuring gorgeous decor and furniture along with original features. The building was simply stunning. The lobby was gorgeous, the bar area, the gym was perfectly equipped, staff so friendly. And the breakfast was honestly perfect, I could not fault it - and I travel A LOT! I ate at the restaurant one night and had a great meal - I will remember that cheesecake for a long time! My time in Barcelona and at this hotel was really one of the highlights of a long work trip around Europe. When I think of the price compared to my stay and experience, it really seems like great value. The location couldn't have been better either.

On one of the nights there was an alert sent out by the government warning of a storm. When my phone and watch started going off, it really gave me a fright! Travelling on my own, sometimes I do feel on high alert any way, so it took me a little while to calm my nerves. A little message or a note from the reception maybe inviting me down to the bar would have been a comforting touch.

Location and comfort

Beautiful clean and comfortable Has all a family needs Close to colosseum and all other historical places The owner is welcoming and helpful

Good location. Comfortable bed. Courteous cleaning staff.

Previous comment was too long, and I think not everything was posted. So here is the continuation. I’m thankful for the other woman at the reception who accompanied me to the room to check and was very helpful. Also for another woman who i think came from the back office who helped me with locating the police station and the consulate. Losing important travel documents while traveling is a nightmare. Situation did not have to be worse than it was.
