I don't speak French or know this area - but the staff at reception and during my stay were exceptional in their support.

Excellent, beautiful old hotel in a great location on the beach with friendly, helpful staff. Very interesting decor. The old hotel is filled with a huge collection of antiques of all kinds. Our room and bed were huge and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent, right on the beach and boardwalk but far enough away from the center of town to remain quiet. This is a nice 3 star hotel, clean, spacious rooms and nice balcony. Free parking. Good value. It is not pretending to be anything else. I would stay again. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked well kept after.

The location. Air conditioning Lovely shower , new.

No internet in the rooms. Very basic facilities regarding coffee and tea in the room. Hotel was outdated and was in desperate need of refurbishing. Advertised as room overlooking the garden, it was a room overlooking the car park. Room key broke so we didn't have one.

Feiendly efficient service, great location, central yet quiet. Thanks all at arc hotel.

Wifi unreliable.

Not much to like. The room had the essentials, but was totally misrepresented in the booking.com description. We booked a garden view, but requested if possible a better view. The hotel responded they could fill our request, at no extra charge. When we arrived, they only offered a "garden view" room. The manager stated she would not fill our request and if we wanted to pay $205 instead of $132, the room would have twin beds. A garden view turned out to be a room overlooking the gravel parking lot. Not a flower or bush or tree anywhere. We were only staying one night and just cut our losses. Would not recommend this hotel and shame on the manager for stating she had no idea who would have approved our request.

View. Bedding was excellent. Quietness of the hotel. Staff were lovely.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. People arrived at same time, not enough sitting places, queuing in a small space under Covid not great. Croissants etc did not seem that fresh.

Everything was great! The staff was really kind and made our stay very enjoyable. They provided us with information and recommendations about all the activities we could do and where to eat during our stay to Arcachon. The location is perfect, very quiet and charming, right in front of the beach and just a few minutes from the train station, the centre, the bus station and all the restaurants. The Hotel also has a very nice pool where you can relax and enjoy the sun! Considering all that the price was very reasonable! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would love to stay there again the next time I visit Arcachon!

Cleanliness. GREAT view in the sea view rooms.

Poor breakfast and breakfast space. On the second day, when we decided to just get ourselves something from boulangerie (which is rare, we are not overly food-sensitive!), the lady at the reception at first showed me the direction, and then, when I came back, half-yelled at me saying eating one's own food is not allowed in the room and overall in the hotel territory and we should use their breakfast, and FOR JUST ONE TIME she will let us stay in the terrasse. (Not that any of this is stated anywhere). The price-quality is not fully corresponding, the hotel is expensive for the offer.

Not enough towels, only one hand towel. Shower floor extremely slippery when wet. No bottle of water in room. First 2 nights were in “garden view” room, view was of car parking. Booked an extra night that was very expensive but had lovely sea, beach and pool views. Not pleased with the toiletries provided for the money and no bottled water, toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet, missing bulb in bathroom round the mirror, another lightbulb not working in bathroom, inside bathroom cabinet had not been cleaned. At breakfast this morning there were no scrambled eggs and waited half and hour but not replenished. No tissues in sea view room either!

Lovely light room. The hotel was on the sea front and the staff were all friendly and very helpful.

Due to Covid restrictions evening meals were unavailable.
