The Kenmore Guest House

Staying at The Kenmore Guest House in Llandudno was an exceptionally warm and comfortable experience. Our accommodation in Room 6 was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, making it easy to feel immediately at home. The room itself was furnished with a King or Super King, comfortable bed and modern ensuite facilities, and it offered a special extra seating area with tea and coffee making facilities, which elevated the space to feel almost like a small suite. This allowed us to enjoy relaxed moments in-room, whether having a quiet cup of tea or simply unwinding in comfort. From the very beginning, Karen and David were outstanding hosts. They were attentive to every query and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. Karen even happily offered us plates and cutlery when we opted for takeaway which made meals convenient and stress-free. This personal touch, combined with the suite-like layout of Room 6, truly enhanced the accommodation's sense of hospitality and thoughtfulness. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a great variety of options, giving a perfect start to our day. The quiet street location was ideal, offering easy access to both the promenade and the town centre, while maintaining peace and privacy. The guesthouse garden provided a lovely space to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Llandudno. The location is ideal to explore both coastal areas. Karen & David were absolutely nice and warm. They helped us going through the map and the main attractions in the area. Plus our dog has everything he needed.

Nothing to complain about

Breakfast was included and the food was good, although having to pre-order from the menu in advance was a little less convenient than a buffet. There was free parking, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is also very dog-friendly, with a reasonable charge of just £10 per day for dogs. It's situated in a quiet area, around a 15-minute walk from the beach.

Unfortunately, I found the facilities rather disappointing. The bath mat, towels and bath sheets were all showing clear signs of wear, and the traditional key-operated lock felt rather dated and inconvenient. In particular, opening the door from inside the room was a little awkward at times, as the traditional lock and heavy door closer made it slightly more difficult than expected to open the door. The mattress was only moderately comfortable, and overall the room felt in need of refurbishment.
