立地が良かった！ おしゃれな作り。 二段ベットの階段が登りやすくてストレスなかった。

部屋に入るとほとんどWIFIが繋がらなくて困った。 日本人の男性スタッフの態度が非常に悪かった。キッチンを使ってる時にゴミ箱を替えに来ていたが、目が合うと挨拶どころか、睨みつけられた。挙げ句の果てにため息をつき、ゴミ箱をわざと凄い音を立てて叩きつけるように締めてびっくりしたし怖かった。 ゲストと目が合って挨拶も笑顔もせめて会釈すらできないホテルスタッフははじめてだった。一瞬にしてせっかくの楽しい気持ちが台無しになった。 学生のバイトだと思うが教育を徹底して欲しい。どんな時もゲストに見られてる事を忘れない様に。 それに比べて外国人の男性スタッフはいつも笑顔で対応してくれ素敵だった。 アメニティがPOLAでテンションが下がった。ホテルの雰囲気とあまりにも合わない。経費問題もあると思うが、せめて無地のボトルに入れ替えたらどうだろう。 冷蔵庫がキッチンにしか無いのが非常に不便。反対側の館にも置いて欲しい。 以上を改善すれば良いホテルだと思う。

booked the double room w/ private bathroom which was clean and quiet, walking distance to the nishiki market, allowed early check in, near various restaurants, provide baggage storage on day of check out, gym for a fee, less than 10 minute drive to train station, nice common areas

Excellent location in the middle of Kyoto within a short stroll to transport options. A great base to explore from. The room was small but functional. The ensuite facilities were great - very clean and lots of water pressure. The main building's top floor roof was fun but did lack any sort of view due to the surrounding wooden walls. We didn't use any of the communal facilities but free coffee was available and it certainly looked spacious, clean and new. They have some storage facilities if you want to check out and leave your luggage for the day - all with locks.

The lack of view from the rooftop space was a little sad.

Great location and great value for price

The common restrooms were disgusting. The air con in the room was noisy.

Fabulous accommodation! The bed was super comfortable. Loved the setup of our double room, so practically laid out and cosy. It has lovely common areas, especially the kitchen which is huge and fully equipped with a coffee station as well. The locker room allows you to conveniently store and lock your luggage (you can set your own combination lock) before and after check-out time. This hostel is really great value for money and the staff are very friendly so I would happily stay here again!

Super clean, amazing facilities and still quite lovely place to go to. It was my second time there, and I still love every single bit of it.

The double rooms can be and feel a bit dark. However, they are clean and super comfortable. Only one issue I had was with the fact that there were a lot of Chinese tourists there who kept on making insane amounts of noise at night. However, there was nobody to complain to. They also took over the common kitchen and didn't clean it at all. I hope that the hotel personnel can look into this in the future and be clearer about the rules.

Well located, well priced, clean and modern with great facilities. We stayed in the “hotel” part, there is another building across the street housing the “hostel” part. Guests can use both areas. The downstairs lounge was a great place to relax or eat in with a green wall for a touch of nature - very Japanese. The Hostel kitchen had all the mod cons and cookware that you’d need. The staff tips were excellent.

The roof terrace was great, we had dinner up there, but the BBQ and taps were not operational. It would be a great place to cook and eat and enjoy a piece of sky. The bar looked cool but was only open Friday & Saturday nights but there were plenty of other bars in the area.

Might be small but they were so smart with the design, you don’t feel it - Beds were super comfy some type of memory foam on the pillow top - Black out curtains were awesome! - Roof top adorable patio with tons of seating - Adorably decorated common areas - Free coffee - GREAT kitchen - Great location - Storage lockers for your bags, super easy to use and super secure - Cheap/clean laundry

Clean rooms and bathrooms. Amazing common areas with a great vibe. The kitchen looks like a Master Chef set, it's absolutely amazing.

The hostel in general was amazing,the facilities and the crew were very nice with foreigners.

The only issue we found out was that the room was a little smelly.

Great location for markets, calligraphy course, specialist shops. Very clean and tidy. Good rooms, Japanese-sized. Helpful and friendly staff in main building - organised taxis for us, provided good information. Big kitchen with free coffee/grinding/brewing equipment, numerous cooking appliances, fridges and storage space for your food. Big lounge in annex building, also bar and lounge in main building. Fantastic luggage storage facilities for the day of departure, with lockers and coded/lockable bag-chains.

Was overall a really good stay, but could improve with someone to monitor the availability of crockery and cutlery in the annex kitchen. Big kitchen, with (for example) only 2 spoons for coffee making, people’s meals, etc. The system of getting a basket for storage of your food was unclear. The dark, low-lighting, mellow mood of the annex was pleasant and calming, but not at all conducive to interactions and socialising with other travellers.

room cleaning is only done for stays of 7 nights or more which seems extreme given the number of double rooms with private bathrooms (hotel style). we also didn’t have a fitted sheet on the mattress, only a flat sheet which kept sliding down and exposing the mattress which was a bit unhygienic and annoying

The setting looked comfortable, very slick, spacious and I enjoyed the rooms as well
