Beautiful location, so peaceful and picturesque and yet only 10 mins walk to salento town centre. Good recommendations and clean facilities.
The breakfast is advertised as 7-9am but one day I went up at 7 and the staff member was only just laying things out and I didn’t eat until gone 730. It’s not the end of the world but when people are starting their days early to go hiking etc, and it is advertised as such, the hotel should be stricter about keeping to this time. My last day I had to leave at 730 so I told them I would be there at 7 for breakfast and no one came until 720 so I didn’t get breakfast in the end..

Het hotel is prachtig gelegen in de bergen, net buiten het centrum van Salento (10 minuten stappen). Mooie en propere kamers met uitzicht op de natuur. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en lekker. De medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
We hadden geen goede wifi verbinding op de kamer.

The host is an incredibly friendly guy who can provide you with a lot of great suggestions for activities and restaurants in Salento. The view is amazing and the rooms are comfortable.

Very good accommodation with spectacular views close to but far enough away (700 meters) from the hustle and bustle of Salento. The apartment (separate structure) was a bit sparse but beds were comfortable. Our multilingual host was absolutely amazing and accommodating. He allowed us to use property beyond the check out. And breakfast was delicious.
The apartment was rather rudimentary furnished compared to other apartments we rented. The bunk bed was in the kitchen/common area.

Although I loved the fruit salad every day and I could see how Jordi took care to pick the perfectly ripe fruit, overall the breakfast could be improved - especially the variety of food day-to-day and quality of bread (there was only toast bread). Also having access to tea/coffee throughout the day would have been nice.

The highlight is the view, it was absolutely beautiful. It was so nice to only hear birds and cows. The location is great, a short walk into town. The room and bathroom is
perfect. The host Jordie was so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. Also bonus, Rock the dog is so cute and we wanted to take him home.

Perfect location offering lovely views but a short walk from town. Owner helped set up transportation and offered suggestions on activities. Very good eggs for breakfast along with fruit, toast, yogurt and cereals. Be prepared for short showers (it is an ecolodge!)

The location is great. It's super quiet and you have a great view - but the town is within less than 10 minutes walking distance.
The mattress was very hard and caused some back pain (even though we usually like firm mattresses). Also the bed is only 1,90m long.

Exceptional view and breakfast. The location is perfect - not in the city center of Salento but in close walking distance. Therefore you can have the perfect mix between country side and city life. The owner was warm-hearted and super nice to chat with and provided us with all necessary information about tours like hiking or horse riding activities. You can book tours directly with the hotel you want. I would love to come back one day

Beautiful location just outside of the bustling little tourist town of Salento. The view over the valley is outstanding, almost magical. The room was spacious and breakfast delicious. Cristina was a delightful and engaging host. Enjoyed the 10 minute walk down a dusty road to reach all the eateries and happenings in town.
The parking area was a bit tight.

By far the best place to stay in Salento. It's a short walk out of the town, but that's more than made up for by the fantastic welcome, the high standard of the rooms and the amazing breakfast. And the incredible view!

Really loved our stay here. The location for us was perfect (quiet but a quick, pretty 10 min walk into town). The breakfast was great and view was as well. The owners were so helpful and lovely- would absolutely recommend it for your time in Salento!

the incredible view, the fresh air, the decor and layout of the room, the relaxing vibe and our super friendly host made our stay wonderful. The breakfasts and coffee were also fabulous. I wish we had booked for longer.

Our stay at the gran azul was amazing. Christina was so helpful with her recommendations and helped us organize everything during our couple of days in salento. The breakfast every morning was the perfect way to start our day.

The location is perfect, very close to to town (a few minutes walk) but it feels like the countryside. The room have amazing views, were very clean and have hot water. Jordi, the owner was very hospitable and responsive, and helped us a lot with transportation and activities.

It was the best place of the whole trip! We needed a long rest and it seemed like the perfect place to do it, and indeed it was. Jordi is a wonderful host and helped us decide what to do in the area. The breakfast was excellent and eating it in front of such a view was amazing! The room is very clean and beautiful.. Even the distance from the town made the stay magical, quiet and special and the walk was enjoyable.
Finally, thank you for the wonderful hospitality, we won’t forget it 💓🤩

Cristina was wonderful, helped us to get into the village during one occasion, breakfast was excellent, view was great from our room
Room was really cold, there were no heaters ,mosquitoes inside the room, accommodation overcharged my card with 2 percent upon checkout, however there was nothing explained about this policy , at the time of check-in, we have travelled across the world, but atleast basic amenities should be there, bed were really hard, and there was bunk bed in another room which was really uncomfortable to sleep
