The apartment was nice. The hosts were very helpful, and always available by text . They responded quickly whenever we had a question and made sure we had everything we needed. It was easy to deal with the tourist tax.

A few kitchen essentials were missing, so it would be nice to have a little more kitchen equipment available. Also, the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly before our arrival. These are small things that could make the stay even more comfortable.

The apartment was a good size and excellent location on the edge of the town so it was nice and quiet but a short walk to everything. The town has lots of places to eat and some supermarkets to stock up.

The apartment was not very clean on arrival and the bed sheets had tears. The floor was dirty and all the dishes were greasy, this will be the previous tenants but it's not great. I cleaned everything and discovered there was no hot water but I figured out how to put this on, I think you should get more information or put the hot water on before new arrivals. The owner was responsive when we raised issues and offered to clean the apartment but we had already done it. They replaced the bed sheets but they were also torn. Nothing major but a little disappointed.

Apartment location was excellent, easy walk into town or even to the Black Lake. Convenient parking. Spacious & clean.

Aside from the apartment itself, which was very good, I would not advise booking any activities through the apartment company. I had enquired about horse riding several weeks in advance only to be told the day before that it was booked out which was extremely disappointing and we couldn't get another booking during our time in Durmitor. We had also booked canyoning through the company only to show up to an instructor who did not seem to want to take anyone. Indicating it was extremely difficult even though that wasn't the background we were given. He also handed out wetsuits from the back of his car which I didn't find very professional & we inevitably didn't complete the activity due to the confusion around the safety & difficulty.

I liked the location, I like the management staff answering the messages quick, view of pine trees was nice, although on a busy main road, but the noise wasn't bothersome.

I didn't like the constant smell of sewer even after I changed the apartment. The management acted surprised like it never happened before, but going back and reading the comments it's a common trend since 2023. The cleaning lady came and poured chemicals down the sink and.shower drain and also on the floor drain (which is a no no). I asked her to clean the floor, she poured water and the vhemical went all over the floor, not in the drain (management said they should've lifted a trap). The cleaning lady later gave me bad looks, rolled her eyes and I can tell she was swearing at me in her language. Oh well. The smell of sewer in the bathroom (in both apartments I stayed in, numbers 1 and 2) was so strong, even with the window open, that it burned your eyes and throat. All that bacteria must not be healthy to inhale. The thing that bothered me the most is that they acted surprised - see many comments since 2023 Also, a little more attention should be paid to cleaning the dust and garbage under the beds that you can easily see from the hallway. Shower cabin needa some repairs.
