Lanigan's Accommodation

Location is great for walking about the city.

Weekend partying was heard clearly till 3am and no parking available. Not ideal for a family with young kids.

Seamless check in/check out. Very helpful property managers

It was in a great location, easy to access. Staff were lovely over the phone and in person. Also received complimentary finger food on arrival in the bar, a lovely touch.

The images of the property suggested there was a living area, at least a table as well as a bedroom and a bathroom. However there was simply just 8 beds and a bin, there was little to no space for 8 people to have belongings, even move around in the room.

It was clean

The accommodation was not located where the listing stated. It said the property was at Lanigan’s, so we arrived there expecting to check in, only to have to call the number provided and be told that the actual accommodation was on the opposite side of town — around a 9-minute walk away. This was disappointing, particularly as we had specifically wanted to stay as close to the town centre as possible. Unfortunately, the accommodation itself was also disappointing. One of the mattresses was broken, and as two of us have back problems, this resulted in us waking up stiff and uncomfortable, which was not ideal and affected the start of our day. The price was also extremely high considering the standard of the accommodation. On top of this, our neighbours were very, very loud. There was essentially only a door separating their room from ours, so we could hear a lot of noise throughout our stay. Overall, for the price we paid, we expected a much better standard and a more accurate description of the location.
