The staff and the exceptional manager
My room was next to the air con units and could hardly sleep due to the constant hummmmm

The hotel setting is picturesque. The room was well equipped and clean. Staff were really helpful. Check-in time was flexible for our circumstances. The breakfast was of the highest quality and cooked to order.
Parking can be a bit limited when busy, but there is an overflow carpark close by.

Our second stay at this welcoming friendly pub. A smaller room than lasttime and when we worked out where the thermostat was, nice and warm (a little too hot in the night in fact!) . Delicious breakfast .

Liked the location especially as it was on the river.
