Grand Palladium Select Bávaro - All Inclusive

Grand Palladium Bávaro Select was an exceptional stay from start to finish, and for me, it was a genuine 10/10 experience. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are exceptionally well maintained, the location is fantastic, and there is an incredible amount to see, do and experience. What really made the stay memorable, though, was the level of service and the people. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcomed, looked after and genuinely valued throughout my trip. I would absolutely return. The biggest highlight for me was the staff. Robertson, my butler, was exceptional. He was super funny, professional, attentive and incredibly proactive. He anticipated my needs throughout the trip and was always there whenever I needed him. He never hesitated to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Honestly, my stay would have been nothing without him. Thank you Robertson! David, Robertson’s manager, also deserves a mention. He was like a very happy genie who would appear in the most random places! And no matter where I saw him He was consistently funny, charming and full of good vibes. Every interaction with him was a pleasure. Wagner, my breakfast host, was another standout. He knew exactly where I liked to sit and remembered my usual orders. Although he spoke limited English, he was always attentive and professional. I actually had the option of premium breakfast but chose the regular breakfast each day because I genuinely enjoyed being looked after by Wagner. Angel at The Nest, the premium breakfast restaurant, was also fantastic. Luis, one of the cart drivers, was so bubbly. He sang, joked around and brought such positive energy every morning. He made getting around the resort easy and he really brightened up my mornings. Jose at the Beach Pool was another favourite. He was funny, witty and always made my visits to the pool bar more enjoyable. He was someone I looked forward to seeing each day.

My only slight criticism would be housekeeping. The room itself was clean, but I felt there was sometimes a lack of initiative and attention to detail. For example, on one occasion some items had been moved around but the bed hadn’t been made. The towels, bed linen and robes also looked quite tired. They were clean, but several had old stains and marks. Replacing some of the older materials would make a huge difference.

Great value for the money. The hotel is completely renovated with super nice rooms and facilities. Please ignore previous comments about not being completed. The entire area is beautiful. We had the pleasure to visit multiple restaurants and all of them had great food. Recommend to book them already the first night to make sure that you have a spot. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room was always clean and filled up with water, drinks and snacks. Pools and beach is great with plenty of options for everyone.

The only negative aspect is that a big portion of the staff doesn’t speak English, so sometimes it can be a bit tricky to communicate, but it is always sorted out somehow. The resort is huge(you have access to all other hotels under the palladium umbrella), sometimes it can be a bit tricky to navigate. You can take out how many towels you want, so people tend to book up a lot of spots without really using them. When arriving later to the beach, it was usually difficult to find something. Recommendation would be to limit the number of towels a room can take out.
