Rooms were a good size. Pool area was great, lots of sun loungers and choice of two pools. Always got a sunbed. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice! The downstairs entertainment area was nice, lots of comfy chairs and live music on every night. The hotel was a good location. There was a bus stop right outside to get to Lapad/old town and there was a nice scenic walk down to lapad (about 20mins) but we had to find it ourself
Coffee choice at breakfast and in the room was very poor. There was no water available - a member of the gym coach staff told me I couldn’t fill up my water in the gym as there wouldn’t be enough for other guests. Considering the amount you pay to stay in the hotel I thought this was a joke.

The room and the staff were excellent. The front desk helped us book an extremely early taxi to the airport and it helped us tremendously.
There was some kind of concert happening in the lobby. We were on the 4th floor. The sound of the concert woke us up late at night. Some time around 10pm or 11pm was absolutely detrimental to our sleep and really odd to be happening so late in a hotel. This was the one thing that really didn't make sense in our stay and is the only reason we did not have a satisfying stay.
