Liked the location of the hotel, very central.
The hotel was really quiet. Usually you are awake with the first slamming of doors and housekeeping but not at the Treehouse Hotel - and I am a light sleeper.
The gym was superb. Never been in a hotel with such an excellent gym.
I had parcels sent to the hotel and it took a few days to find them which I thought was a bit strange but they found them in the end.
I generally don't like the extra throw pillows that are put on the beds. I doubt they are ever washed and people usually throw them on the floor. I also don't like the faux fur rugs under the beds. Very hard to clean properly.
Discretionary service charge that I had to ask them to remove. Very strange and on top of that a large deposit as well.

Beautiful and quirky. Good breakfast; catered well for gluten free/coeliac. Awesome rooftop bar. Amazing gym - it even included theraguns and leg compression equipment.
Optional service charges were ridiculous. We were charged an optional service charge of 12.5% on the rooftop bar, which we were told didn’t go to the service staff. Then we were charged an optional service charge on the room deposit, which makes no sense whatsoever. We had already paid a lot of money, so to be asked if we wanted to pay a service charge on the deposit felt very unnecessary and put a bit of a downer on the end of the stay.

the location is great - quirky hotel
no decaf coffee in room and had to use corridor for fresh drinking water - furniture very uncomfortable - no room service or food available after 9.00pm
