Amazing location and people in Riad Carina. The pool and terrace at the top are perfect for relaxing out of the heat and the rooms are amazing value with great local breakfast. Would highly recommend!

The small swimming pool on the roof top was nice. The roof top is very calm and good to sit and relax. The airco was functioning well and helped so much keeping our room cool. Housekeeping gave us a good stayover service. Saeed pointed out on the map some spots to visit when we arrived.
Even though the riad looks very nice and cosy, the staff doesn't make you feel at ease (reception staff). The communication with them was a bit weird and lacking genuine care it felt. My girlfriend and I speak Arabic, French and English.. so it's not a language barrier, but more like they just wanna give the bare minimum. The breakfast was in poor shape, mainly jams and butter. The first day we had eggs but then they didn't serve eggs the second day until we asked for it and they brought eggs with some attitude.. it felt like (here are your freaking eggs). Upon check out we were asked by Saeed to give them a review on Booking.com and a rating of 10 !! As a hotelier myself, I would say you don't ask for a 10, you earn it. The wifi was bad and slow at times. In general, compared to a couple riads and dars we stayed at, we expected Carina to be right up there with them.

This Riad is beautifully set up in the middle of the action but still provides a quiet haven. The kind service, even providing a late diner was superb.

lovely property, perfectly located near all major attractions and close to many great restaurants. welcome meal was still the best chicken tagine Ive had in Morocco. staff was very welcoming and took good care. airport pickup was easy and fast. would definitely stay again.

Clean big rooms and the terrace pool. Their food is also lovely, loved the fish Tangine. Siad is really a great help.
A few portable fans on the roof would be a good addition.

Wonderful chilled place. Said and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Safe and close to so many beautiful things. Even the call to prayer became a thing of Beaty at 5 in the morning - like they were reminding you how good it was to be alive. Acemans.

Everything, position was great: 10 mins walk to Jemaa El-Fna square. Located in a nice and quiet street, far from traffic.
Above all, I’d like to thank Said, owner of the hotel, for making our stay as much comfortable as possible. He would cook a great breakfast for his guests every morning, and has always been available for any question we had.
He helped us arrange a one day trip to Ourika Valley, which was a great experience (highly recommended), and also sorted out our transport to the Agafay Desert (return trip).

The location is very convenient.
The rooms are a hole. The shape of rooms are also odd, so nothing fits. There is hardly any space to even open your luggage except if you open them on the bed.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had dinner on our first night that was delicious. The breakfast was also good. The rooftop was lovely. The rooms were clean and had good facilities.
The bed is quite firm.

Location was convenient. Near to alot of restaurants and the Bahia palace.
While the lobby is well maintained and clean, the room feels dusty and there is a layer of dust covering lights and furniture of the room. The carpet in the room feels like it never has been cleaned. There was also no change of fresh towels which is usually expected after a room service. The pool waters look murky and uninviting. Further, the photos in the listing looks very different from what it actually looks. Seems like the listing photo has been heavily edited. This isn't the only riad I've stayed and I usually hesitate to give bad reviews but the cleanliness of the room is in need of improvement. wouldn't personally recommend this riad unfortunately...

Perfect location, just a short walk to the centre/souks. Friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, great breakfast, and the rooftop area/pool is perfect to relax after a day exploring.

At first sight, well appointed, with nice riad courtyards, greenery and comfortable seating.
The covers for the bed were stained and dusty. There was a ball of hair from previous occupants in the middle of the bed and hair on a pillow. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and in the absence of clean covers for the bed we were cold. Quite a noisy location. Finally, we had asked for a prompt breakfast but nothing was on the table at the advertised start time which caused us a delay in leaving for the airport.

Riad Carina is a quaint but beautiful place to stay if you are visiting Marrakech. It’s a stone’s-throw from the Medina, and is operated by the most amazing staff.

Fantastic position, close to the medina, but in a quiet alley.
The staff is very helpful, english speaking and can help you booking day trips.

Location amazing: there is a small square with restaurants and touristic places just 2 minutes walk and we could even order on glovo if we were tired. the building is just beautiful and the terrace so perfect. The staff was so nice they even gave their phone number for a delivery.

Great location, great staff, Saaid even printed out boarding passes that we needed. Traditional breakfast was included every morning.
The hot water took extremely long to heat on the last floor, but bedsides that everything was great.
