Circa 1905

The location couldn't be better as it puts you in the heart of the Eixample a block from La Pedrera - Casa Milà nestled between Passeig de Gràcia and La Rambla. It's surrounded by excellent restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and unique architecture. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the common areas are charmingly decorated.

The breakfast was good, but not quite as plentiful as I was expecting. They provided a selection of meats and cheeses, fruit, bread and rolls, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, juice, coffee, etc. I would have liked a bit more variety, but it was a solid continental breakfast.

Great

Nothing

The Circa 1905 was perfect. Alex was very helpful in recommending places to see and eat. He also made us feel very welcome. Located in Eixample area, close to La Pedrera. Yet if you went the other direction it was in a residential area with lots of nice little cafes. Good breakfast selection. Property has been beautifully restored.

The location is the best thing of this property

When we arrived we have found out they decided to give us a different room to the one that we have booked up saying it was an “upgrade” because I complained they said we could move to the original room the day after and gave us a small bottle of sparkling wine. The other room was worst than the one we were given so we stayed where we were. The hotel is noisy is on a first floor and the walls are very thin. The mattress is old, the pillows, bedsheets and towels are old too. The walls are dirty and everything needs maintenance. This b&b that has a receptionist only until 4pm is definitely overpriced. I would not stayed here again. The staff was friendly, there was nesspreso and location was good but for the price you pay there are plenty of better options.
