Meramie Motor Inn

The cleanliness and location

I have stayed here many times. Its the best value motel in Albury that I have found. Rooms are large and comfortable. All with couch and kitchen table, small kitchenette and good size bathroom. Water pressure is great and rooms are always spotlessly clean.

Property is somewhat old having been built in the 60's or 70's - you may find the odd scrtach or cracked tile but nothing that will concern you.

Clean, convenient and great value for money.

Needs a little updating..

The beds are comfortable

The room smelt stale and the walls are in need of a decent clean. There was a hole in the wall that had been ‘repaired’ by someone filling it with tissues. The shower was missing a door but the water pressure was good. When the room next door used there shower it sounded like they were in the room with us. Communications were blunt, an automated email told you not to call - they weren’t interested if you were getting in late (I’m paraphrasing) then a note in reception tells you off for expecting a free continental breakfast in a cost of living crisis. The information book says they have free WiFi except if you are staying in room 20 - what did room 20 do to be denied WiFi? On a positive the beds are comfortable and the location is good
