The lodge was a lovely retreat with beautiful gardens. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had many options. The takeaway sandwich when we had to leave early before breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious as we were upgraded due to renovations in the original building. Staff were very helpful. Great to have access to microwave, fridge and drinking water.

All the staff was friendly. The taxi service provided by the property was excellent. We really liked the atmosphere with the garden around the hotel.
Breakfast was good but very "American": not many healthy options.
One of our rooms was situated directly above the breakfast room, and the music from the room was quite loud and started early in the morning (with windows open).

Compound and security
Need to have lounge chairs with umbrellas around the compound. Also, the lobby lounge area need improvement with addition of a sectional/lounge seating. There clearly is a decline in the accommodations over the years I’ve stayed at this hotel as the management is not the same. Furnitures and mattress old and uncomfortable. No light lamps available next to bed. Limited electrical outlets to accommodate guests staying in room.
