Fantastic room, good facilities - both tea and coffee available along with a kettle and a fridge (mini-bar). Asked for fresh milk at reception and this was provided with no fuss. Easy walk into the centre of town and access to very pretty walks along the canal. Parking (paid for) was good with a designated parking spot in secure (gated) area, shut at 21:00 and accessible via a code lock. Breakfast good. Easy to find from the motorway and easy to get in and out of the town.
Staff gone by 21:00, so no chance of a night-cap when returning from dinner in town.

The location in this lovely city, the excellent breakfast and the staff.
It used to be a much better hotel before the take over and name change. I’m not sure what’s gone wrong but we were most uncomfortable in the room.
The communication issues via Booking.com did help too.

Charming hotel, very comfortable room in the car park but easy to check in and out and breakfast was decent
Bedroom looked out on carpark which means straight on to a parked car; travelling on a Sunday there was little choice of places to eat out but that was our fault!

Very central and easy parking. Room was quiet and comfortable.
Breakfast room is far too small to accommodate many guests . Awful coffee!
