Great location, easy to walk to old town. There is a lovely pool and bikes on offer to cycle to the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they offered great recommendations and advice.

The floor in the room wasn't that clean. The treadmill in the gym wasn't working. The breakfast options were not great, we just had an egg and toast. I understand we are in a tropical area but the geckos in our room took some getting used to, wouldn't recommend to anyone who would find this a problem as it is unavoidable. There were building works happening right outside our room which were very loud and they started at 6am and went on all morning. Had we been staying longer, we would have asked to move rooms but we were only there 2 nights so we didn't bother.

For us the property was on the older style needing some maintenance to rooms. Our first room was not cleaned properly with hair everywhere including bathroom. We were given another room which seemed clean. Unfortunately my son and we’re bitten by insects whilst in pool area so could not relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Breakfast was kinda boring. There was a strand of hair in my bowl of noodle ... My room wasn't that soundproof, you can hear people walking by if you stay near the restaurant, very noisy. Not a problem if you stay at the top floor.

Everything! The location (close to the old town but beautifully and quietly located next to the river). The staff (always friendly and helpful). The room (high quality, light and cool). I loved my stay and would highly recommend. It was the perfect oasis to escape the heat and the crowds in the middle of the day.

The property was lovely - lovely relaxing pool area, felt very tranquil. All the staff were so friendly and always liking to help. Property was very well kept - people always out working/gardening. The room was really comfy and great AC. The breakfast was soo good - plenty of choice and always nice, hot, and kept stocked up! Happy hour was good. Great location - easy stroll to old town

Spent a week relaxing here. The pool and resort were a perfect place to relax in the heat. Fantastic location by the river, quiet and peaceful but short walk to the old town. The staff were so wonderful. Huang the restaurant manager and all the staff were so friendly and made our staff so relaxing. The food was delicious and fresh. Hoa ( Mia) on reception was bubbly and full of enthusiasm and ideas. She arranged motorcycles for us to explore the hills and outskirts of the town. I would love to come back again!

I don’t understand why this hotel has only 3 stars. It was the most surprising one on our trip because it’s so nice. The pool is great and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. I also recommend dinner at the hotel, it’s cheap and very very tasty.

The location was amazing, pool was incredible, bed super comfortable, aircon was perfect and staff were lovely! It was the best place we could imagine.

This property was just perfect!!! The rooms were spacious, we had a balcony, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows and linen! Delicious breakfast and very helpful wait staff. The swimming pool was a plus, as the weather was very warm albeit a tad warm in the water!! Everything was in easy walking distance, shopping, night markets, restaurants and bars, and we felt very safe the whole time! The reception staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful, they couldn’t have done enough. Would definitely stay again!

We liked everything about the Emerald Riverside Resort! Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is set in a beautiful location overlooking the river with a lovely garden and pool. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable and had a nice terrace overlooking the pool. The restaurant and bar area was great and breakfast was very good. We wanted to extend our stay by two more nights but sadly they were booked up due to it being a national 5 day holiday to celebrate Liberation Day. Great location too, within easy walking distance of popular areas.

I was upgraded to room 210, which has to be the best room on the property and one of the best anywhere. I was on the third floor, but only one flight up from reception (no elevators) - and I had a private terrace at the level of the palm tops surrounding the pool. The staff also gave us one of the best welcomes in Vietnam. The hotel is on a quiet street a few blocks from the busy action of the night market. Great breakfast with some Hoi An specialties. The location on the river was also nice.

Another room we booked was near the reception and did not have as much privacy as room 210, but it was only $55/night. We could hear some noise from other guests' voices and doors shutting later in the evening. The hotel is probably a little older than some of the newer properties around Hoi An, but it suited us fine.

Location was good for walking over the river to old town. Pool area was nice. Only used restaurant for breakfasts which were good. Staff were very friendly.

Bedside light had not been checked and was broken- but was fixed immediately when reported. Safe was impossible to set up.

Superb location, right on the riverbank and 2 minutes walk from the ancient city. Staff is amazing, food at the restaurant was always nice and delicious. Highly recommended.
