Some issues with room at the start, however staff remedied this very quickly.

An excellent, beautiful and truly pampering hotel. The location is perfect — close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. What really made our stay special was how incredibly family- and child-friendly the hotel is. The entire team was warm, welcoming and genuinely caring, making us feel more like guests in a family home than in a hotel. A very special thank you to Hana and Nancy, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were absolutely wonderful, kind, attentive and welcoming. We truly appreciated everything they did for us and our children.

We had a very good first impression of Cozy Savvy Hoi An. The staff were friendly, especially Nancy, the room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The Old Town is reasonably close, although the walk can feel quite long in the heat.

What disappointed us was the constant questioning about our plans and whether we had booked activities, tailors, taxis, etc. through the hotel. I understand this can be intended as helpfulness, but after a while it felt more commercial than friendly, especially when approached during breakfast. On checkout day, we were also told we needed to leave by 11, although our Booking.com reservation stated 12 noon. The most uncomfortable part was being asked whether I had the Booking.com app, then being told to open it and leave a review while a staff member was standing there. Reviews should be left privately and without any pressure. It’s a shame because without these things, the hotel itself would have been excellent. Sometimes you can feel the difference between genuine friendliness and friendliness with a commercial interest behind it.
