Parking right outside our room. Well-furnished room, including a large comfy bed. Fridge and bottled water. Very quiet, even though at the back of a pub. Excellent location - you can walk across the road to the Abbey Gardens, and to the Cathedral and town centre in minutes.
A cheaper alternative to the £12 breakfast (eg. a coffee and a pastry) might have tempted us to eat in - we opted to get something at a nearby coffee shop, which was fine. Although it was nice to have a bath tub as well as a shower, the bath felt hazardous to an older person with balance issues. It needed rails or handles for easy access.

Clean and comfortable and in a good location for the town with parking.
Service at breakfast was fairly slow and not the best quality produce.

"Brilliant. Easily walkable to town center. A two minute walk from a great curry house. Parking directly in front of the room making transfer of luggage a doddle. Air conditioning in the room that work..."
