Beautiful little hotel with a warm welcome

We had a very warm welcome, and due to an error with Booking.com it appears there was a duplication, because two rooms were booked in our name, however the receptionist understood the problem, and arranged that, even at the last moment, one of the bookings was cancel without charge. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The hotel centrally located and the room very comfortable. Our first visit to Aosta, but if we were come again, Le Reve Charmant would be our first choice.

What is not to like!!!!

Cutely decorated boutique hotel, part classy rustic, part kitsch, very cozy. Tatiana, a Byelorussian immigrant and former language teacher who is fluent in Italian, French, English, Russian and obviously her native tongue, acts as receptionist, cashier and breakfast chef, and is a very friendly and pleasant, well-educated lady. She was a real asset to our stay, very knowledgeable about local attractions and events. Breakfast is plentyful, the first day we had an added veggie tart, the second a torta della nonna like in Tuscany.

All five rooms have windows on the street below. We had room no. 24 (apparently the biggest according to the fire escape floor plan in our room) and the street lamp shines all night right into the room even with the curtain drawn. Blinds or shutters would have been appreciated. If you sleep with an open window, light sleepers do well to use earplugs because though the street is open to local traffic only, without them you'll hear people chatting and cars passing. Also, the many light switches are initially a bit confusing until we figured out which switch corresponds to which light. The property has three underground parkings about 10' away (EUR 5.00/night currently) which means you'll need to carry your luggage to and from the hotel.

Colazione e camera. Abbiamo chiesto la cortesia la sera prima di poter aver qualcosa per colazione visto che siamo dovuti ripartire presto e non potevamo aspettare le 8.00 Non ci è stato concesso. Per 170 euro a notte mi aspettavo una coccola in più. In più la colazione è molro scarsa nelle quantità e soprattutto a richiesta. La prima camera aveva la doccia nel disimpegno e il condionatore nell'armadio attaccato al letto. Ci ho sbattuto la testa! La porta d'ingresso affaccia nella sala d'aspetto. La seconda camera invece aveva il condionatore dietro la tenda. Se chiudevi la tenda per non far entrare la luce esterna non passava l'aria! Molto gentile la ragazza più giovane della reception ( credo si chiami Eleonora). Per rapporto qualità/prezzo lasciate stare! Un consiglio mettete almeno la colazione a buffet !
