Location was just right for us.
Check in was good, seen fairly quickly and shown to our room which was
nice & clean.
Breakfast was very good.
Room was very small with nowhere to hang anything.
Service quite slow, one staff to serve at the bar and take dinner order in the
separate restaurant area.
Wasn't advised that breakfast was in a different place so was lucky that the chef
came out & found us.
Found drinks quite expensive.

Close to where I needed to be. Historical charm and it’s a family run business so I appreciate the effort that goes in to it.
The bathroom felt in need of an update and unfortunately hot water wasn’t available on our first morning after some maintenance.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The tea, coffee etc was a nice touch and provided a welcome arrival brew. Room was quiet.
Arrived early on Saturday as had travelled overnight. The facebook page boasted a breakfast offering, which was a welcome thought, but was just that. They had stopped offering it due to lack of customers. We asked if they would be willing or able to serve anything, but they said nothing available unless we had stayed. The room was slightly unclean and the bed (a four poster) was an inkeeping addition, but the mattress was uncomfortable which made for a restless sleep.
