Everything was perfect except the safe that got broken

The rooms, they were clean and fresh particularly the bothroom, I liked the space of the bathroom and it's cleanness. The swimming pool area and it's peaceful state. Overall the place was superb.

The cats.

Guests are forced to buy the buffet in order to eat. The only way to eat at the restaurant is to get an expensive buffer (~420 rand per person). Not everyone wants to eat two buffet meals a day. There aren't many decent food options around and they are FORCING guests to pay for an expensive buffet to get food. This feels like extortion.

Good room

Upon arriving at reception, we were embarrassed by the receptionist who said our stay wasn't paid for, a horrible situation. It seemed like we were trying to use the room without paying, the first time this has happened to me on the Booking.com platform in years of using it. Even though I don't speak English and understood a little of what she was saying, I showed her the payment confirmation on the Booking.com app and the printed receipt, and even then they refused to give us the room key. She then called a young man and explained that she couldn't find our payment confirmation. He told us we could go to the room and they would check. Even after he said this, the receptionist still wanted to charge me again for the stay I had already paid for, and said that if they found our payment they would refund the amount. I said I wasn't going to pay anything more because I had already paid and shown all the receipts. She said: "Okay, you can go to the room, we'll sort it out tomorrow," and gave us the key. We stayed for four days, and nobody came to say anything, much less even apologize for the terrible inconvenience we went through.
