Club Tenerife Apartments

Staff and security guards were all very friendly especially reception she couldn’t help us enough. Room was clean and tidy and rooms were cleaned every 5 days

Rooms don’t look like the pictures which was rather disappointing. They are all aged and need some work but for a budget complex it’s good No air con in the rooms I did know this before booking but never expected the apartment to be as hot as it was. When showering the heat from the bathroom filled the apartment there needs to be extractor fans installed. We hired air con to keep the rooms cooler.

Recently back from a weeks stay at Club Tenerife. Overall I can't complain. We stayed in a mountain View duplex and the apartment itself was fantastic. Very spacious, the rooftop terrace was a huge bonus for us, we loved it. The beds were comfortable, everywhere was clean and well kept. The location is good, not too far from the beach and shops, however it is on a hill, as are many places in Tenerife so anyone with mobility issues may need to research whether they would manage. The staff were friendly and helpful to their best ability. The pool bar was great and the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The pool area itself was great, could do with a few more sunbeds around the pool, as there are more up on the terrace which is lovely, but with kids you can't see the pool. We also loved the Hammocks. Outside the hotel there is a lovely breakfast spot 'lucky brunch' I'd recommend trying their lucky breakfast it was gorgeous

Unfortunately the pool wasn't so great, on the days it was open it was fine, but 4 out of 7 days of our stay the pool was closed. And this seems like it may be a common occurrence for these apartments. We enquired about the pool and when it would be opening the second day it was closed and were informed it would be closed all weekend as the repair needed they were unable to sort until Monday, this was extremely disappointing for us as travelling with children this was the highlight of their holiday. We were told there was a sister hotel we could use the pool at however once given the information realised it was over an hour away. We ended up using the pool bar at a local restaurant which as much as it saved the holiday for us, did cost us €30 a time as you had to hire the sunbeds. We also requested some more toilet roll at reception one morning on our way out as we had run out, this was never provided and once we returned to the apartment late we had to go back out to purchase some as there are no staff available after 4 or 5pm. There were security on site until around 11pm however they spoke no english whatsoever. So if you need assistance later on or early morning, you're on your own. Overall, for the price we had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The heated pool was lovely, as was the pool bar, apartment and balcony spacious with nice views, beds were comfortable, the welcome pack left on the table for us was a lovely touch which was much appreciated thanks for that

Apartment being next to the reception meant we had people returning from a night out between 1am and 5am being very loud running around slamming doors and a couple of times banging on our door at 4am demanding to be let in so not one good nights sleep was had in the 14 we stayed, also the sofa in the apartment needs replacing as was very uncomfortable, it sunk in the middle so was like sitting on a slope
