Clean functional rooms, friendly helpful staff, good location, good breakfast
We only stayed 1 night and arrived late in the evening and left straight after breakfast so didn't really have chance to really get to know the place and the staff.

Overall it was quite good for the price range. It was a quite low cost hotel so taking that into consideration it was all the we expected and needed. It wasn't missing anything you would expect. Breakfast was not best quality but you won't get best in that price range. It was fine though. We had only booked bed and breakfast for two nights as we were travelling and it was absolutely fine for that.
Parking is a bit awkward in the area although the hotel does have sone limited free parking right in front, just not enough. There is other free parking in the area but you might need to walk up to a couple of hundred yards if you are not lucky.

The view and breakfast are excellent. Staff accommodated our disabilities by putting us in the ground floor and we don't need to go downstairs to the restaurant as the elevator is not working. Because of the traffic and so many road closures, we called that we can't arrive before 9 pm and the staff available, Tom, on 18/09/26 the day we checked in was very nice to accommodate us.
It's the first come first serve policy of the hotel that we didn't like even though we requested for a disabled parking reservation. I am 74 years old and post total knee replacement surgery and my husband is 91 years old with spinal stenosis. Other than no parking for disabled people like us, we like the hotel for everything else. We didn't sleep well because the bed was harder than our bed so I don't think it could be considered something we didn't like.
