Vienna Residence, Hietzing - Schönbrunn

Everything was perfect.

A little bit tricky with the public parking in Vienna. Yet you have a private parking near by (7-10 mins walking) and the host will provide you all the necessary details.

Silenzioso e tranquillo e buono anche per parcheggiare l'auto

Finestre del piano inferiore senza zanzariere e affacciavano su un disimpegno non troppo curato.

It was clean .

They needed smaller kitchen knives and a cutting board. More coffee capsules for longer stays. Only had two!

A pleasant, modern accommodation, cleverly designed with a very comfortable bed and very up to date facilities. The location is just a short walk from the subway station so it is easy to get into town. Knowing how climate change is impacting Europe, we were looking for a place with air conditioning to make our stay more comfortable during the heatwave. The aircon in our room, when working, was very effective and kept the sleeping area comfortably cool during the night which meant we slept very well. The apartment is located on a busy road but all the balconies face the garden at the back of the property so, once you are inside, the noise does not impact the quality of your stay. Overall, this property is a great deal at the price.

We had one or two technical issues with the washing machine (fixed quickly) and aircon which didn't work for two nights. Our experiences with support staff when trying to resolve these issues were mixed. We had friendly and helpful support from some staff members but when we called the office because of the issue with the aircon, we were, to be frank, rudely dismissed by a male member of staff who appeared not to believe us when we told him the air conditioning did not work, told us that Austrian air-conditioning is not like American air-conditioning, and hung up. Later we got a much more helpful lady on the phone who organized for technicians to fix it the same day. So mixed results on the customer service but if they weed out the old style Viennese customer service and keep the friendly and helpful members of staff, things have great potential to improve.
