Excellent restaurant, service and very friendly and helpful staff. We did the Sentinel Hike which was amazing and highly recommended. A beautiful lodge surrounded by magnificent mountains. We also made use of the spa facilities for a full body massage which was very welcome after the intensive hike and definitely recommended.

The rooms are quite light as blockout curtains are needed over the door area.

LOCATION!

Expensive due to convenient location for hiking.

Location is incredible! Breathtaking views 😍 ✨️ ❤️ Clarens beers at the bar! Night security which met us on a day of arrival was very nice, warm and professional! Thank you! Tugela waterfalls hike not for everyone...take it seriously.... Try instead waterfalls which are close to lodge...Great views and easier walk

Place is absolutley overpriced. Rooms are very basic and not well cleaned and maintained: AC didn't work, window didn't lock, towels with holes in it, old blankets, dirty curtains and shower....not the best feeling... Breakfast was ok. Simple. Very basic. Bar has a good clarens beers - that was a good moment. Biggest disappointment-the staff....shouting all day around...in the morning around restaurant, day time-housekeepinng....its annoying. Its so peaceful and quiet place...but to hear all day around shouting to each other women....its bad. Additional fees: to waterfalls....when you are leaving fee....not mentioned but be ready for that. In general...the place is ok....coz you try to look what you have around....

The view

The drive up to the property thru the area. The gravity on the rocks after entering the property.
