Convenient to attractions I was visiting

It was perfect, comfy, quiet.

The fact I had to pay an extra $100 on arrival for bond. It should say when you book, as this was an unwelcome surprise and if I didn’t have the spare cash I would have had to shop around for another place to stay

We were able to check-in and leave our bags midmorning. The location is excellent for the comedy festival

Great hotel ... in a great part of Chinatown.. bar downstairs was also really good for a relaxing nightcap and the easter egg treats were a lovely bonus .. bed and pillows were really comfortable too

Bathroom fitout even though it had lovely Phoenix PC items, the large raised edge of the shower area was very unnecessary and actually a trip or fall hazard ... the tap on the vanity should have been centred not at the 10 o'clock position because water went all over vanity (especially if washing face) and wall hung vanity placed too high ... also where this room is was right next to lift so you could hear everyone coming and going ... Street noise was pretty bad on the first night and we were on the 13th floor (Wednesday just before Easter weekend)

Pool with view, room bedding, staff (especially housekeepers), convenient to the places where I visited.

The buffet breakfast for $21 a person is excellent value with a wide array of delicious food and drinks, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the car parking so convenient with right next door and a lift to the ground floor of the hotel. A very central location and lots of restaurants close by to choose from. Bar prices very reasonable and happy hour for beer and wines a great idea.,

Location location near everything. Staff were so incredibly friendly, very rare to see these days. The happy staff made me happy.

Location was the best. We walked everywhere. Two minutes walk to Bourke St mall, easy access to a tonne of restuarants and China Town. We also thought the hotel was pretty good value for money. It served our purpose and we would go back.

The shower pressue. Dreadful. Quite new renovated bathroom however the water pressure would not have got the shampoo out of my hair! It was the only real negative. However if you are wanting a room with a view of the city you really need to book a Premier King room, otherwise your balcony will look out on to a wall.

The staff were friendly, professional & efficient. Nita was particularly charming & helpful.

My room was near the rubbish shoot and you could hear everything happening outside the door.

Location was good

The units are very outdated, the TV doesn't let you connect to Netflix or YouTube or anything. The only way to watch a movie is to buy it from the hotel. The balcony was tiny and unaccessible.

A comfortable recently renovated hotel room in a convenient location to an event we were attending at the Melbourne Exhibition building.

Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Central location - near lots of restaurants.

Very small balcony - only standing room for 1 or 2 people. The distance between the shower head and the shower base was not large enough. My hubby couldn't stand up straight underneath the showerhead. The water pressure and heat regulation was pretty poor.

My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable Good selection of teas and coffees available and shampoos and conditioners etc in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good and room service options were also good

The gym certainly needs a revamp. I would’ve liked a weight bench in there as well as a clock on the wall and the ability to turn the tv on
