The hotel was excellent value! Comfy beds and really friendly staff, especially on the reception. Plenty of parking. The house and grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed relaxing in the bar area. My mum loved that she could have tea and cake while we had drinks :)
Bedrooms were very quiet even though there were two functions on so that was great.
We stayed to visit the Harry Potter tour and it was a 20 minute drive to the location so very handy. Excellent value for money for the area!

Beautiful and well-kept, including the grounds, room and other facilities.
Nothing.

A lovely hotel in beautiful location
A very captivating place with historic features and real charm and atmosphere
Gardens and views are outstanding
Room was a bit of an up and down stairs along corridors trek to reach but understandable as it is an old building with many additions to it

The quietness of the hotel and the nature
Bar and restaurant staff were incredibly rude.
