HOTEL OKINAWA WITH SANRIO CHARACTERS

I booked by chance with no particular expectations other than a themed room and I came out of the hotel a little disappointed to not have spent at least an extra night in here. I think the building may be dating from the early 2000s given the rather old elevators, but otherwise it was super clean and looked greatly refurbished. The reception staff was nice, I could leave my luggages by 11am and I got some presents and goodies at check-in. I booked a double bed room which looked very plain, softly lit in a dreamy haze by pale green curtains. It only had two pieces of furnitures, a carriable light desk and a solid multifunction one including a sink (closeable for extra space) and all standard amenities (hairdryer, coffee maker with free coffee, a small ice bucket, glasses and cups, etc...), no chairs however. And of course the double bed which was good, the mattress rather soft, the pillows a little hard. The shower and shower gels were perfect and I was impressed how sophisticated the toilets were, the most high-tech toilets I came across in Japan so far. The night in here (not in the toilets) was silent, it felt well soundproofed, the streets activity distant and muffled. Ultimately, the hotel exceeded my expectations with the glassy 10th floor breakfast area offering a panoramic view on the city.

1.房間沒有椅子,有一張圓形不知道是圓桌還是圓凳,邊緣突起設計,應該不是椅子 2.洗手台和茶水櫃的結合非常難用 3.沒有熱水瓶(有膠囊咖啡機),飯店內也沒有提供飲水機之類的設施,二天打掃一次才有更新水瓶 4.鏡子只有房間有,且擺放位置和高度很難使用,也沒有穿衣鏡 5.浴室沒有鏡子和洗手台
