Ski in ski out
The slope (stairs when no snow) going up from the bus stop to the hotel was at times slippery and dangerous, and could have caused serious accidents/ injuries. The snow accumulated on the stairs could have been cleared

Rooms are too dry when heater is turned on and the common bath needs to be cleaner.

The skiing was amazing. The hotel is right on the mountain so renting ski equipment, getting ski passes and accessing the ski lift were easy and very enjoyable.
There is only one restaurant at the hotel and the dinner option is only a very expensive buffet. The choices were limited and we left feeling unsatisfied.
The rooms were clean and spacious, but very outdated and the beds were terribly uncomfortable.

The location for ski-in ski-out is brilliant, the gondola station is in the hotel. Ski hire and lift tickets right there too. Staff were super helpful and willing to help at all times. Rooms clean and warm. The little Japanese restaurant downstairs was absolutely great, loved the food.
Would have liked it to have a casual coffee shop style of place to gather in with friends but other than that it was a great choice.

Ski rental on site very handy. Really close to first lift. Great mountain to ski. Nice Onsen.
Reception staff had limited English, No bar or fireplace in lounge. Rooms need redecorating.
