Intitambo Hotel

Great location. Rooftop view of the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site. Super helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. We even got a fully packed bagged lunch on the day we missed breakfast for an early train to Machu Picchu.

The only thing I would say is that the comforters were too heavy, which meant they were too warm. I would suggest perhaps a thinner comforter with an optional blanket covering on the side.

Upper floor balcony offers a great 360 view including main archeological site and the storehouse (Pinkuylluna). The hotel arranged a transport from Cusco airport, a ride for a day trip to Pisac, and tuk-tuk to the train staiton. The staff was very patient with our questions. Hot water and coca/muna tea was always available in the dining hall. Great breakfast. Gave us a complimentary late check-out (1 hour) to accommodate our train schedule to Machu Picchu. There was a heater available in the room.

Incredible view from the courtyard and breakfast included. The host was incredibly helpful in arranging a private transfer back to Cusco. Would definitely recommend!

Location was good, not too close to the center to hear the noise and not too far to walk. The view was very nice. And the breakfast buffet included some yummy mini pancakes with lots of fruit options and freshly squeezed orange juice.

They charge a 5% fee despite the listing showing there are no booking or credit card fees. When offering to pay in cash in soles, we were told there was a ‘local exchange rate’ which was even more expensive. This means the price you see on Booking.com is 5% higher or more.
