As maxing staff and great location at base of largest archaeological site
Nothing they even got up an hour early to make us breakfast at 6am before our Inca trail hike

Just around the corner of the historic site.
Breakfast was nice.
Beds are very comfortable.
Staff is also very nice.
Many group tours sleep there and they leave very early! So it was very loud and in the evening they meet at the garden and You Can here EVERY WORD! Walls are very thin. So you really need good earplugs.

The staff were so friendly, and the family-run lodge felt warm and cozy. We loved the little courtyard, the breakfast, and the very comfortable, warm bed. The location was close to everything, too.
Sound carries quite easily between rooms. We could clearly hear other guests showering, laughing, and playing music, which made it a bit noisy.

Ok this is a tough review because what really makes this an interesting property is the two ladies that host the guests ... they are incredible and hard working. The moment you arrive you feel like family.
Now two things that were disappointing is that we did not have a view out or room window and overall the room needs quite a bit of upgrading, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was great and they really helped us organize a transfer back to Cusco... very helpful
