My wife and I used this unit as our base for experiencing a beautiful summer weekend in the Bellaire and Torch Lake area. There is so much to see and do in the area. Playing Hookie served us well for that purpose. The unit was exactly as advertised. It was all very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

The place was clean and well maintained. The instructions on how to get in were clear, and the other written material prepared for us was very clear and helpful, including what activities were available at Schuss Mountain and nearby. Would definitely recommend Northern Lights for lodging.

Prefect location for a ski weekend, unit was stocked with all the essentials. Host was friendly and easy to communicate. Overall a great place!

Owner, communication, welcome packet, location were all very good. For what we paid I thought it was a fair value. The view, wild life sounds, serenity were fabulous.
Internet was abysmal and the overwhelming smell of mold needs to be addressed. I would suggest improved lighting, bed pillows and mattress as well. If these get addressed then owner has a great value to offer.
We really enjoyed our stay and love the area.
