I had a delightful stay at the Smugglers Rest. John was incredibly accommodating and cooks the best breakfast I've had in years! It was lovely meeting John's wife and Dexter the dog too! My room was great and the housekeeping staff were super attentive. I will be returning next year for sure.

John made me feel very welcome the moment i arrived, and helped me with free parking. He cooks a very good breakfast every morning at a great price, and the hotel was very peaceful at night.
My room was great, and the bed was very comfortable, with an en-suite shower room. I'm not much of a TV watcher, so being able to access Youtube on the telly was a bonus!
As well as being very quiet and relaxing, Smugglers Rest is in a fantastic location, literally 2 minutes walk from Newquay town centre. I personally booked my stay as a holiday, to go bodyboarding, and the location is great for access to Fistral, Towan and Great Western beaches all within walking distance.
I hope to stay again at the Smugglers Rest soon, thank you for a wonderful stay!
