The accommodation has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, with a sense of calm throughout and an excellent team that pays attention to every detail. The breakfast tower, featuring a delicious variety of food, is simply amazing, especially when combined with fresh bread and an egg dish of your choice. As Madeira is a destination where you’ll most likely enjoy an active holiday, coming back to such a peaceful, clean, and welcoming place is the perfect way to unwind. The location couldn’t be better. Just 100 metres from the nicest part of Funchal, it offers the perfect balance of peace and quiet while still being within easy walking distance of everything. An absolute gem!

A choice was offered the day before but it was still accompanied by a selection of regional cheeses, jams and meats. Coffee and tea replenished. Lovely view over the bay, town and beyond Very friendly, informative hostess. Heike certainly went the extra mile. Our room was spotless, comfortable and very well appointed. Just a 10 minute walk to the old town restuarants (20 min walk back up🤣). I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Perhaps a kettle in the room for an early morning cuppa but wasn't really an issue.

Great location for the restaurants, the coast and the old city area. Fantastic breakfast and very lovely ambience! Hosts were helpful and friendly!

Not much to dislike! Maybe slightly more bedside surface area would be good? ( But nitpicking really!)
