Lovely staff, so caring and very friendly, Rooms were cleaned once a day (very tidy), hotel always had staff maintaining the cleanliness of the property.
Only had issues with Grab - not knowing the exact address or on how to get to the hotel. But that isn't the hotels fault, a few more signs from the main street pointing on how to get to the hotel may be handy.

The staff at the Red Door Samsen Hotel were welcoming, attentive and happy to help with any queries. Check-in was easy. Our level 2 room was spotless, spacious, had a lovely balcony and the most comfortable bed of our entire trip. The brekky buffet was absolutely superb with loads of options.
No biggie but we would have preferred the sound of the birds in the banyan tree rather than the music being played in the courtyard

Location was good as close to many shops and restaurants. The bed was not the most comfortable and the room got super hot at night so we couldn’t sleep too well. Otherwise fine for a one night stay in Bangkok if you’re looking for an affordable option. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool but it looked nice.
Bed super hard and room too hot. Many dead mosquitoes on the floor and in the bathroom.
