We LOVED this place, if you are looking for a peaceful, cozy, nature filled experience this place is for you! The views, the wildlife (If seeing a Moose is on your "bucket list" then chances are this may be the place for you - we saw 5!). The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with utensils and many staples, the views were breathtaking and the wildlife amazing! I highly recommend this place - it is a shirt drive to Estes and RMNP too - its just one of the best places we've ever stayed!

We stayed here for our nephew's wedding at the Wild Basin Lodge. It was perfectly located and away from the crush of tourists in Estes Park. We could see Mount Meeker out the window and star gaze at night. Lots of room, clean and inviting.

Perfect location, only 20 minutes to the entrance of RMNP which made it super easy to arrive early to beat the crowds. It's also a beautiful drive, the kids were quiet every morning on our trip in as they enjoyed the views and kept their eyes out looking for wildlife, which we saw many elk and deer and marmots. This place has everything you need and more! It's also one of, if not THE cleanest property we've ever stayed in. There is t a single cobweb or dust to be found. We all loved how honey it felt!! Shelly provided a perfect landing place to rest our tired feet from hiking miles every day. We had plenty of space for a family of 5 and even enjoyed evening dinners with extra family that lives in Colorado. They too enjoyed the short drive from Longmont. We loved the views, breathtaking and you have views from every single room, even the showers!!! I couldn't help but smile as I scrubbed my hair and saw the beautiful mountains. :) She also provides so many blankets, we loved the ample supply to wrap up in as we enjoyed a fire from the deck every evening. A short walk on the property and there is an additional overlook that gives you incredible, wide open views. We spent most of our time in the park, but also went rafting near Ft. Collins and spent time in Estes. Because the location feels remote, but close enough to Estes, you can take trips in to grab groceries, ice cream or visit the shops. We all slept great in the plentiful queen beds, with fans provided in every room. Even on warmer days the home cools down perfectly at night. We enjoyed laying in our beds and seeing the stars from our pillows because the windows are placed just right. I could write a novel about this amazing place, so if you are reading this, book it now, you will be so thankful you did!! It was a vacation we will never forget and we are so grateful for this amazing property!!! THANK YOU!!! We hope to be back again soon!!!

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding at Wild Basin Lodge. It was a great location and easy to get to the venue. Everything was very clean and the cabin was so cozy we felt very comfortable. The first morning we woke up to Elk bugling right outside. It was great to watch several of them wandering around the property.

The directions were clear and simple. This property is beautiful and welcoming. Everyone from 10 years old to 77 years old felt comfortable. We did a lot of cooking in the well stocked kitchen. We had one event in Estes and one in Lyons so the location was perfect. The home is just lovely. A top notch experience!

The home was very cozy and accommodating. So many amenities that we were blown away. Soft bedding, comfortable beds, and perfect porch sitting furniture. We loved watching the sun come up and shine on Long's Peak while enjoying your morning coffee. All this coupled with the chipmunks and hummingbirds made for a perfect stay.

This place was wonderful! It was perfect for what we were looking for. Stunning view of the mountain... Long's Peak I believe. To sit outside in the morning and evening to enjoy the beauty of the area was priceless. To be so close to wonderful places to hike and also be able to enter Rocky Mountain National Park was a treat.

I came with four other women and we stayed here as our main base for hiking Wild Basin and Longs Peak Trailhead areas. Perfect location. Comfortable home with everything we needed and more. The drive up to the cabin is fun and it is set in a peaceful area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had such a nice time staying at this property. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. The gas fire pit on the deck was so convenient. We had to leave messages for the owner a couple of times and their response was very timely and pleasant. If we find ourselves in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here a second time.

Easy and accurate information.

This home is beautiful, in an awesome location and well appointed. There were tons of toys for the kids and the kitchen was amazingly equipped. The host even brought over more pans when we said we wanted to bake bread while we were there. Shelly also went above and beyond in accommodating our needs, which changed just before we left home. This was the highlight of our trip and we are grateful for people who take care and pride in the home they rent to others. Thank you to Shelly!

What an AMAZING place! We enjoyed this home immensely! This has to of been the CLEANEST listings I've ever stayed in. And it is so warm and inviting. Towels in each room, and it really feels like you are staying in a friend or relative's home without them there. Almost like you've been there before, and feel like it's okay to just "BE". The layout is great! Each room has it's own "perk". LOVE the turquoise sink upstairs!!! The owner's of this home have taken great pride in it and it shows. I love that here was only 1 TV in the whole place and that is didn't get turned on once. The CD player and music were fun. We listened to some swing and had a blast! While driving out of the neighborhood on the 1st evening we saw 2 moose! A huge male and a female. What a TREAT! Expect for your coffee needs to be met in this home, they have every way of making coffee you can think of, as well as any cooking utensil you may need. The double shower downstairs is so much fun and the board games are epic! I would love to stay here again! Only thing missing is a hot tub ;) Just a magical place! Book it and you will not be disappointed.
