We loved our stay in Pebble Beach at this quaint ranch home. The location was perfect for our needs with wonderful views of the MPCC Shore Course. The home had everything we needed including starter supplies for laundry, bathroom essentials, and COFFEE! We appreciated the instructional placards throughout the home especially how to operate the TV/Entertainment systems in each room. The vintage stove worked great, and there was plenty of room throughout the home for our family of three. The only drawback was a lack of a dishwasher, but we knew that ahead of time and were prepared. The management company was STELLAR to work with, I cannot overstate how proactive Sanctuary was with us. The called multiple times to ensure we had what we needed and they even delivered a pack of battery operated candles after the historic wind/rain storm on the Peninsula. This was an absolute game changer for our last night that was without power. We would definitely stay at Adobe by the Sea again!

Older house and main bathroom has a window but no mirror over the sink. The other bathroom has a mirror, sink and toilet. The backyard is not fenced if you want to bring pets. The kitchen is very well stocked but the oven is old and they had to blow out the lines so we could use it. We got ants and they brought ant traps.

Overall, good stay. Very cute, clean place with two bedrooms. Only weird setup was that there is only one shower between the 2 baths. But, easy checkin and checkout, convenient location to Monterrey, Pebble Beach, Carmel and Big Sur locations. Sits on the golf course (?Monterrey Peninsula) if you are around to enjoy the porch. Everything worked and we were not in need of anything extra.

We couldn't have been happier with this home for our anniversary getaway. It was clean, quiet, and perfect for our needs. Neighborhood is lovely to walk around and the ocean isn't too far. Also enjoyed the backyard area, deer, countless birds, bunnies, etc. We will most definitely be back!

Great location with great view to fairway (Monterey Peninsula) inside Pebble Community. Very quiet place. House itself is nice and cosy, we liked it and slept like babies. But it’s a little bit sloppy, especially outside (terrace, garden, plants, cushions, grill, outside fireplace.... ). We would recommend an improvement by Sanctuary and definitely a parasol at terrace.

My family and I spent four days at the Adobe by the Sea and would recommend this house for two couples or a small family. We had a great time walking through the neighborhood all the way down to Spanish Bay (only a 12 minute walk) and watching the golf from our patio. The home is cozy and well-equipped for short stays. The outdoor patio furniture could use a good cleaning but otherwise home was in good shape. We especially appreciated the bottle of wine and cheese left as a welcome for us! We traveled with our one year old son and the layout of the house was great for him to have his own room while we could enjoy dinner after he went to bed. Sanctuary was responsive throughout our stay and left lots of information behind for us.

I was a little skeptical booking this home due to the negative reviews on cleanliness but honestly we had no problem with that at all. The home was very clean and beautiful!
Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 days and we loved the quiet neighborhood surrounded by the golf course. There was a gate to enter the neighborhood so we felt very safe. It was within 10-15 minute drive to everything we wanted to visit; the aquarium, Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf, downtown.
The house itself is beautifully decorated with a beach theme. Beds and couch were comfortable. We loved the outdoor patio!
Our only complaint was that the kitchen was a tad small. We ended up cooking most of our meals on our trip at the house. There was no extra storage space for food besides the refrigerator. We ended up just storing it in the box we brought it all in and some on the countertop-which worked.
The stove was also tricky to figure out. You had to light the stove top and oven with a lighter which we were completely fine with once we figured it out.
Overall we really loved this home and would definitely consider staying here again when in Monterey!

We rented this house for a long weekend to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and we were all impressed at how well-appointed the house was. Most vacation rentals provide the bare minimum in kitchen utensils, towels, disposables (TP, trash bags etc) but Sanctuary Rentals really goes above and beyond to make this house just like home. The kitchen is beyond fully stocked; you could prepare any kind of meal or even bake cakes in this place without bringing any equipment from home. The beds are comfy, and although the house is small, there is plenty of room for a family to sit and hang out in the living and dining rooms, and the outside area is huge. My dad is an avid golfer and really enjoyed the view out onto the fairway at MPCC. My only complaint is that although it is a dog-friendly property the yard isn’t fenced in. Not a huge deal but it would have been nice to not have to leash the pup for potty breaks. It’s a small detail and I would gladly rent this house again the next time I’m in Monterey.

We LOVED staying in Pebble Beach, right on a golf course. We had deer and quail visitors in the neighborhood which my child was really excited about. Such a beautiful location with east access to Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, right off of 17 Mile Drive, and hiking/outdoor activities (we went to Point Lobos). Not cheap but a great price for the location, and although we ended up going out to eat for all of our meals (so many great restaurants in the area!), the kitchen and dining area were nice. (We did enjoy wine and cheese/snacks out on the patio though which was lovely). The only downside was that the bedroom with the en-suite (which has the shower/tub) has the smaller bed. Would definitely stay here again.

The carpet stains were awful, lighting was poor, and the central heater needs to be serviced by a professional HVAC company as opposed to the rental company’s handyman (as I requested and did not receive). I suspect that some of the lighting is an electrical code violation, for example ceiling fixtures that are turned on and off by plugging an electrical cord, which Is tacked to the ceiling and wall, into a wall outlet. The stove is an antique. The kitchen faucet will turn off only by discovering one precise position for the handle. All in all, overpriced considering the poor condition.

The furniture and decorations were beautiful. But this house needs serious upgrades as far as appliances go. While I was there the toilet, garbage disposal and washer broke down. The stove, oven looks scary. It is definitely antique and I would feel uncomfortable using. Overall this home needs some serious look at all appliances
