Gary was very helpful! The location is spectacular, close to the beach and a quiet neighborhood. Lots of sand chairs to use, booster seats that work like high chairs for the grandkids, kitchen supplies (seasonings, pots and pans and cooking utensils plus plates and glasses). Might want to add whiskey glasses, there was only one. The bedrooms worked very well and had a restroom in 4 of the 5. Only issues is the bunk beds, need to be sturdier. It worked fantastic for our group. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gary’s home for a trip to the beach. It was everything were were looking for our trip to Newport. Thanks for everything Gary!!

We had 3 families with 5 adults and 7 kids and were very comfortable in this house. Ideal location to beach and short walk to coffee/food spots. Garage fits a Tahoe size rental and space to park second car behind garage. The house is quiet and has A/C and kitchen is well equipped. The only negative is that it was not super clean—lots of dust and dirt on baseboards and in the fans. The house and furniture are old but the dust is a separate issue! Overall a wonderful stay!

Family vacation with three couples & nine kids (2-12yrs). Plenty of room for everyone to have their separate space or gather together, or a little bit of both. Furnishings were comfortable & clean. Family room & master bedroom fireplaces were awesome. The house could use some deep cleaning & a few new blinds (but, so could our home). Overall, it was great. Gary was responsive & accommodating. Our nightly rate for 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 family rooms, balcony off the master with an ocean view & more, all within a few steps of the beach was fabulous! We never wanted it to end! We would love to make it a tradition! Thanks Gary!.

Incredible location, right on the beach, close to everything. Comfy beds with lots of linens and towels, and beach stuff. The cleanliness was not what I had hoped. The home needs a good deep clean, and it lacked some basic kitchen items. Overall, it was a perfect spot for our needs and I would recommend it for any large group that wants to be on the beach!

We spent 8 days here, quarantining on the beach, gathering in the evening, playing games and talking. We loved the house - it was plenty of room, so close to the beach, with a kitchen that was perfect for our needs. We unanimously voted to make this an event we do every year!

We enjoyed our time staying at this place. It is steps from the sand which was perfect for us, it had everything you you needed for your stay at the beach. Communication with the owner was fantastic.

We had a great stay in this beautiful, spacious home. Our extended family had plenty of space. The large gathering areas were great for watching movies and playing games. It was great to have some bikes to ride to the pier. Very comfortable and lots of sand toys, beach chairs, beach towels etc! We’ve stayed here a few times before and will gladly come back!

This house was absolutely perfect for our whole family. Plenty of space and it was SO nice for everyone to have their own bathroom. The location is incredible and only a mere 20 steps from the gorgeous beach! The house is also really close to several restaurants and walking distance to a convenience store. The only downsides are that no paper products are provided (not even toilet paper!) and the ice maker in the fridge doesn't work and the bikes available in the garage are pretty junky. Other than that everything was excellent!

This house was perfect for a family celebration of 7 adults and two children. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is a block from the beach with partial views from many windows and the various decks. There were beach bikes for the adults and sand toys for the children. Overall, an excellent experience.

Overall the property is as expected. There were some weird anomalies. Like the rusted fixtures in the garden tub and the gross and dirty looking neck pillow in what was otherwise a clean bathroom. The upstairs heater wasn’t working either. The owners request to “start” the laundry to save time for his cleaning company was inconvenient. While this was my first vacation rental this was the only one I looked at with that request — which I didn’t know until after I reserved and made the down payment. While Mr Goodman both labels the bedding in a cabinet and provides a list of what bedding goes where in the rules, situating bedding for so many beds was very frustrating especially with late arrivals. It would be my suggestion to have two sets of sheets for each bed and to store them in the room with the bed they are meant for. My family had a great time and really enjoyed the beach and location. Being able to have the 14 of us under one roof for games and family time was awesome. You can’t ask for more than that.

This was an absolute dream of a rental house - everything about it was great. The house itself is very spacious and everything was very clean and easy to find. The location is unreal - you walk out the front door and you're looking at the beach across the street. And everything is in the house for an enjoyable stay - bikes to ride to the boardwalk, beach chairs and toys for the beach. My friends and I are from NY and rented the house for a long weekend for our friends wedding and everyone there was jealous when they heard about the amazing house we rented. So many great restaurants in walking distance as well. And the owner Gary made everything as easy as possible for the rental process and was always quick to reply to any question/concern we had. Highly recommend to all.

The house is beautiful with very nice updates. Plenty of space for the whole family. We had one minor problem, but Gary the owner had someone out to fix it within a few hours. Definitely would recommend and would love to come back one day.

We absolutely loved staying in this home just a couple of steps from the ocean. We saw dolphins and sea lions on the beach in front of the house. The home was beautiful and fit our family of 14 with room to spare.

This was our second time renting this property and we will likely stay there again. This house works out perfectly for when our friends and family visit from Ireland. The house itself is beautiful and is clearly well taken care of. The location is also fantastic for visitors that do not want to drive. It is right by the beach and close to many restaurants. Walking and riding bikes (provided with the house) along the bike path on the beach is convenient, scenic, and fun!

This home was amazingly positioned—less than half a block from the beach and only 3 blocks to the Pacific Coast Highway and anywhere you might want to go! Compared to another home we stayed in a couple years ago, this place was far more spacious but had less homey touches. For example, it had twice the family/living room space but it wasn’t really stocked with toys and games to keep the kids entertained. The bedrooms were very spacious, the master suite was *amazing* and overall I would highly recommend this home to others, especially if you have a big group.

Wonderful stay huge home fits multiple families

The house is huge! I had a group of 14 and there was plenty of room for everyone. Only down side was that the stove stopped working on us due to a faulty circuit breaker. Gary had someone come out and fix it within a few hours. 6 bathrooms makes a huge difference with so many people. You can see the water from any level in the house. I would rent this place again. I’ve stayed at houses all over Newport and this house is easily our new favorite. Gary has done an excellent job on updates and added amenities. The kitchen was very nice with all new appliances and plenty of pots/pans/cups/plates etc. The bikes were great and we used them to go up and down the boardwalk as well as getting to restaurants. There were several body boards in the garage and a few chairs for the beach. The house had plenty of room to hold all 12 of us and the bathrooms were beyond what was needed. The rooftop deck was an awesome feature as was the deck and little courtyard in the front of the house. We had 4 vehicles and the house fit 3 of them quite easily. We had one in the garage(mini van), and two parked behind the garage. The location was really good. Easy walk to several fast food and breakfast places, and a quick car or bike ride to lots of other restaurants. It’s about a 15 second walk to the sand and 1 minute walk to the water. There was a sand volleyball court set up very close and we used that for hours each day. Neighborhood was pretty quiet, but close enough to walk to many of the bars/clubs for nightlife. We would stay gladly stay here again. Gary was easy to deal with and emailed me all the info I needed on the house well before the trip. There was no stress getting in or out of the house(outside of trying to finish laundry in time). There were plenty of sheets and towels provided in the closets for our group. It was a great vacation and a good amount of that credit goes to this house. Our favorite casual restaurants in the area were Boss Burger, Newport Brewery, Urban Cup(lemongrass pork), Mutt Lynch’s, and the Alley.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Seashore property .... truly spacious and accommodating of a large group in every way w/ plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms! It's like 2 houses in one:) Proximity to the beach was a huge plus and all the beach gear readily available in the garage! Would love to rent it again! Both owner and caretaker were sincerely accomodating and made us feel welcome.

The first day we were on the roof top and we saw a whale about 500 yards off of 46st what and experience. It's a huge place , we have a large family so it was perfect. We will be back in the future. Thank you Gary.

We stayed at the Beach House for a week to attend a family wedding. The location was great. Just steps from the beach and a walking and bike path. There were enough rooms, bathrooms and living space for all of us. We had small children with us and it was so convenient to walk to the beach and there were sand toys, chairs and towels to use. The rooftop deck was an excellent spot to watch the sunset and we even saw pilot whales. There were bikes to use on the bike path that goes out along the beach. The beach was very clean and well maintained and a great place to look for shells. I would recommend this place for large families or multiple couples that want to have a fun Southern California get-away!
