Leonardo Hotel Plymouth

Room was a decent size, nice decor. Staff helpful and friendly. Great range of nicely cooked and presented breakfast options. The cocktail from the hotel bar (Bramble) was delicious. Great shower in the room nice and powerful. The location was handy for The Barbican. The bed was comfortable and there was a radio in the tv.

One bedside lamp had a very bright white bulb. The standing lamp did not work. The shower temperature control was hard to use. We had stayed in Leonardo NYX Bilbao and hoped it was similar but the Bilbao hotel had much nicer overall decor, de caf coffee in the coffee machine at breakfast and much more comfortable lounge areas. There was not much storage space in the room. The lounge sofas were not that comfortable and the air con in the lounge was fierce. We would have liked à heated towel rail and a mini fridge in the room. The location wasn’t very picturesque. The overall vibe of the hotel was rather bland.

We always use this hotel when we go to Plymouth, the location is good and it is always clean and the staff are very friendly. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else now.

Nice hotel very nice breakfast

Rooms were quiet on the 5th floor. The bar area was decent enough. Good location for the university open days. They provided vouchers for a free drink on arrival.

Our room was pretty tired. The beds felt very firm as did the pillows. The bathroom needed repainting and the buttons were missing off the toilet flush. The worst part was the car park below…..although not owed by the hotel, it was in a shocking condition.
