Maldron Hotel Sandy Road Galway

The location was good

The light in the room is not good for a female trying to get ready very even with every light on

King size room suite, walk out patio, big shower, tv, dining room, coffee maker.

I think it was good and reasonable, there was a petrol station next to us, so we could walk and get snacks if needed.

A very comfortable and welcoming hotel with friendly staff, spacious rooms, and excellent facilities. The location on Sandy Road was convenient for exploring Galway and getting around the city, while still providing a quiet and relaxing place to return to after a busy day. Everything was clean, well organised, and comfortable, and the breakfast was a great start to the day.

There was very little to dislike. Parking and access were convenient, although the hotel is a little outside the immediate city-centre area, so a short drive or taxi is needed depending on where you want to go.

Customer service from point of arrival was very good. May I add 45 min prior to arrival I got a call as there seemingly was an issue with the roo. Which I had originally booked .I asked the staff member to come up with a satisfactory resolution and to call me back promptly because I was at that point on my way to the hotel. She did call me back 10 minutes later with an upgraded room and when I arrived I received voucher from the receptionist for the bar as a good gesture. So all in all I was happy with the service, my stay and also the breakfast was nice I couldn't personally fault it. And I most definitely would recommend the hotel and I would stay there again.
