Hotel Staubbach

Lauterbrunnen is a lovely location and the hotel is right in front of the waterfall with bars around, lovely walks and good safe parking.

Adam was Amazing. Even after we checked out we continued to visit for information and he was always so nice and helpful. We liked that our room provided a booklet with info regarding restaurants and activities.

Location. The view from the dining room was incredible. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a deck that had a view of the falls. We used it every morning and evening. The staff, Kelli, Amy and Adam were lovely and accommodating. We asked Adam to help us make dinner reservations and he ran up to our room to confirm he had made them. The breakfasts were very good with excellent selection of hot foods, cereals, yogurts, fruits, vegetables and pastries. There was an area where you could bring and eat your own food to save costs of eating out. Glasses, plates and utensils were available for use. The hotel is a grand old girl, built in the late 1800’s but well maintained. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone as a base to explore the area.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

The location was perfect! Close to walking paths which took us to the beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley.

There should have been more decor in the rooms to make them cozier - more pictures on the walls. Also, the bathtub was gurgling water that was backing up into the drain.
