Hotel Bellevue - Traditional Swiss Hideaway

The hotel is located in a beautiful traditional historic building. The room was immaculately clean and everything was well maintained and taken care of. I really loved the retro vibe of the room and the hotel and I think it adds to the experience! Some people mentioned the water pressure isnt good but i was on the last floor and didnt have any issues with water pressure at all. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking. The staff is very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious and their coffee is amazing! Perfect to fuel a full day of hiking! The pick up and drop off from the train station is very helpful so you dont have to drag your suitcases up the hill. The walk from the train station is not bad but if you have a heavy suitcase to drag I am sure its a bit of a struggle.

The walls are thin which is normal for a historical building but as long as you dont have loud people staying next to you it’s not a problem. I had an inconsiderate couple staying in the room adjacent to mine for two nights that had loud conversations on their balcony 30minutes past midnight so I could only sleep when they eventually went to sleep.

The views from this hotel are incredible! The food was also amazing and fresh.

We stayed in room 304 for 3 nights. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning!!! For this alone the hotel was so worth it. The staff were very hard working and the dinner we had in the restaurant there was the best meal we had the whole time we stayed in Switzerland. An excellent hotel!

The floor we were staying on smelled horrible. When I questioned the odor I was told it was gone. No it wasn’t and why were they spraying?
