The double room was a very good spacious size.
The single room was very small and probably considering the size it was a bit over priced.

Good continental birthday.
Very friendly staff.
Lots of character.

Friendly staff. The food in the restaurant for dinner was great, as was the continental breakfast. Nice building and grounds.
The room and the hotel in general feels a bit dated and tired. The decor, the carpets and the amenities left quite a lot to be desired.

Good standard of breakfast. Clean and comfortable room
Having to pay extra for cooked breakfast and pressure to pay night before
Paper thin walls. I could hear every word said by guests in neighbouring room
Hearing guest snoring in neighbouring room
Being rushed out of dining room after breakfast
No main course vegetarian option
No guest lounge
No garden for guests to sit in
