Breakfast was excellent and to be able to sit and look at the view was a real bonus. The room facilities provided everything I needed.
We would probably have preferred to have eaten at the Inn on the Bank Holiday Monday but appreciate this would have been a challenge for the staff.

Fantastisk view from the room. I got a room overlooking an spectacular field with cows and a lot of deers.So worth it.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Sportsman. The in-room coffee machine was a great touch and made mornings much more enjoyable, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning—definitely a highlight of the experience and something that made the stay feel special.
That said, at £135 per night for a single traveller, it does feel a bit expensive, especially as breakfast isn’t included. Paying an additional £12.50 for breakfast wouldn’t be so bad if it were hot, but unfortunately it’s only a cold option, which doesn’t feel like great value for money.
