It definitely lives up to its name, “Friendly”! The host, Giacomo, was absolutely fantastic. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated his very warm welcome and all the helpful information he provided before my arrival. I was only in Venice for one night, but I felt very supported and well looked after.
The apartment is also just a short walk from the pick-up point for the airport boat, which made my departure very easy. Giacomo gave me some great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, which really helped me make the most of my short stay in Venice.
The only thing I hadn’t quite realised was that the accommodation is within a residential building, so it doesn’t have the atmosphere of a traditional hotel, which I had been expecting. That may simply have been me misreading the description. It was still extremely quiet and comfortable, and it didn’t take away from my stay.

The location was perfect, the room was clean and bed was comfy. For Venice it was perfect for us.
Bathroom was a little tight but that’s to be expected in Europe and Venice.
