The lodge itself is really beautiful and the atmosphere was really great. The staff was also friendly. We had a good time as a family and our room was always cleaned well everyday.
We enjoyed our five-night stay, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The breakfast options became quite repetitive after a few days. The choices were mainly yoghurt and muesli, with eggs prepared in different ways (scrambled, poached, boiled or omelette). While the breakfast was adequate, after staying for five days I found the limited variety quite boring. A wider selection or a buffet-style breakfast would have made the experience more enjoyable.
Our room was also carpeted, and on the first day the carpet had a noticeable musty, damp smell. The staff was really kind enough to remove the smelly rug though.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff are helpful and friendly.
The shower - water temperature is inconsistent - from very hot to ice cold during a shower.

The breakfast, the fury friends and the stuff. What stood out most for me was the hospitality and willingness to listen to feedback and actually do something about it.
I initially struggled with the bed and mentioned to the team that I was finding it uncomfortable. They were incredibly accommodating and actually went out of their way to get a new bed.

It’s an oasis! Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Our host, Goodman, was wonderful. Friendly and helpful.
