the room is nice and cozy, the staff were very nice. There was cycling tour happening in the city when i checked in and i didn’t find any cab so they helped me take up the luggage (uphill, because the property is upwards) and they were very kind and helpful. the place is located in a good place with loads of restaurants in a 5 min walking distance. the tour option was also a good one

1. on booking it doesn’t say that it’s a shared apartment flat with a room in it, so that was a surprise. i was the first to arrive and then i got to know someone else will be taking up the other room, as a female solo traveller, it was a little worrying that i’d not know who’s staying in the same apartment as me. idk if they have a policy of not mixing the genders but i highly doubt that. 2. the roads leading to the building is very quite and no one’s around after evening, though very safe, but it’s a long stretch so can be scary in the evenings or nights as solo traveller 3. the towels were smelly 4. the utensils were dirty (with food stuck to it) because this is done by the folks who stay but the caretaker should have it cleaned up before the new ones arrive

Siamo stati bene, gli spazi comuni sono ampi, belli e ben forniti. Frigo, bollitore e microonde ci sono tornati molto utili per consumare la colazione e per riscaldare pasti sul posto. La camera aveva tutto il necessario. La posizione è perfetta, comodissima per noi che siamo arrivati a tanah rata in autobus e comodissima anche per raggiungere il ''centro' o meglio la via su cui si trovano molteplici negozi e ristorantini (c'è una scorciatoia per arrivarci in meno di 10 minuti a piedi). Abbiamo anche fatto con loro tour denominato Half Day Mossy Forest Land Rover e siamo rimasti molto contenti. Consiglio, anche per l'ottimo rapporto qualitá/prezzo.

The apartment unit itself (which contained 3 rooms) was clean and nicely decorated.

Our room was very musty smelling. The bed smelled of mildew and was not comfortable. The apartment is removed from the main street by a 5+ minute walk, and is not very convenient.
