James Boutique Hôtel Colmar centre

Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized squeaky clean room with a huge terrace overlooking the town. Separate toilet and bathroom which can be handy! Good breakfast. The hotel is located in a quiet area a few minutes stroll from the old town and Little Venice. While this is entirely out of the hotel's control, I had a query about taxis which the hotel answered quickly and comprehensivly. Apparently, local taxi pricing/zoning scheme results in different prices between the hotel and the railway station depending on which direction you are going. Reception will provide full details. Again, this is entirely outwith the hotel's control

Not much really, all good.

Location was great, a very short walk to center of town. Room was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Lounge area was nice for a drink in the evening.

Posizione ottima per raggiungere il centro a piedi. Camera e bagno ampi e puliti. Non ho fatto colazione in hotel, ma passando davanti all’area adibita, l’impressione è che fosse ricca e curata. Personale sempre molto disponibile

Dalla camera si sentiva abbastanza il traffico della strada, ma ammetto di essere particolarmente sensibile ai rumori

The decoration was nice and the room was big and clean

We had a problem with the bathroom door, it was very hard to open and we mentioned it to the staff but they didn’t check it out. On the other hand, the AC in the room kept turning on and off by itself (we wanted to keep it on as it was hot) and every time it turned on it made a bubbling sound, we could not sleep well
