This Cape Cod Cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the Cape. It is literally just. 1/2 mile, beautiful walk to the beach. It is just a few minutes’ drive (less than 5 minutes) from SEVERAL amazing restaurants. Almost everything we wanted to see and do was within a 15 minute drive, and we were only an hour from P-town, which is a beautiful drive.
The owner was so kind and helpful, calling us the day after we checked in to see that the lights had been left on for us and to ask if we needed anything. He gave great restaurant and sight-seeing recommendations as well.
Beautiful backyard with great sitting area, and a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourself.
Be sure to bring sheets & towels as they are not provided.

Our family really enjoyed staying here. The house was clean, the neighborhood was quiet and the backyard was peaceful and fenced off. I would definitely stay again!

Jay’s place was comfortable, convenient, and had absolutely everything we could want or need during our week stay! It really felt like a home away from home and reminded our family of the Cape cottage we used to own many years ago!

We had a great time during our first visit to Cape Cod! Since we’ve never been up that way, we weren’t familiar with the different areas, so we chose South Yarmouth on a whim - and I’m so glad we did. The house is super close to a bunch of restaurants, ice cream, mini golf, beaches, CVS and a grocery store all a half mile or less away. We drove around to places throughout the Cape, from Provincetown to Woods Hole. It was nice to have a centrally located place to come back to.
The kitchen was one of the more well-equipped kitchens we’ve seen in a rental. The beds are on the firm side, which was fine for us, and the only thing we needed to bring were sheets & blankets (pillows & bedspreads were provided). The bedrooms had enough plugs/surge protectors to plug in all of our electronics – I didn’t think about bringing one, so the hosts adding these was a great & welcomed addition.
The yard was large & great for my husband & our son to toss a football & lacrosse ball. A suggestion for the hosts - get a firepit if allowed. Some of the evenings we felt would have been a perfect fire pit night. The chairs in the shed came in handy when we went to the beach for a bit – it was nice to not have to pack & travel with a bunch of beach stuff, so this was much appreciated! And the outdoor shower was a huge bonus to clean off after the beach.
Overall, we had a great stay. The house was clean, well equipped, and in an area that we found to be perfect for everything we wanted to do.

We were so happy with this house, and appreciated the close communication of our hosts, how well the house was equipped, the proximity to Middle Beach, and above all, how clean everything was - great for our family with allergies! We love the perfect location (right near the Dairy Queen!) and walked to the beach every day we could. We prefer Middle Beach which is beautiful, wide and peaceful! We appreciated all the decorative touches and beautiful artwork. I loved the bathroom color choices and smart use of space for the 1/2 bath! What a lifesaver that is! And the fenced backyard - just lovely! So nice to have privacy to relax, grill and eat on the deck. Everything was thought of ahead of time and provided by the Singers. They are wonderful hosts! The house is comfortable and was perfect for us, a family of 5. This is the place you definitely want to book for a centrally located comfortable vacation home on the Cape!

We found this house to be a great surprise.We've stayed on the cape many times and this was one of the nicest places we've ever stated in.This house is very clean and the home owner is very attentive to your needs.This house is very close to the The beach and to restaurants And to Route 28.I recommend this house most highly.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home! It was the perfect location to the beach and so many stores and activities! The kids loved the back yard and I felt so relaxed with the fenced in yard. The house is just adorable and felt like home in no time. Great location, clean and comfortable
We had a nice experience during our stay. It was centrally located to all of the Cape, which was one of the reasons we chose it along with the affordable price. The beach was right down the street and we were also central to 28 which is a main vein in the Cape. The home was clean, and had plenty of amenities for everyone to feel comfortable. Jay was a gracious host. He excelled in communication and was approachable with questions and provided many great suggestions about what to do and where to eat etc. I would not hesitate to book this rental again in the future.

Meeting our every need and expectation...
All-around outstanding experience. A wonderful, well-stocked, tastefully decorated, centrally located, well-thought-out home base for our week away. The owners were great to work with and responded quickly to the few questions we had. No hesitations here about returning to this great spot next time we plan a Cape Cod getaway.

Perfect
I have been renting in Yarmouth for about 10 years and Grace and Jay's place is the best one i have stayed at to date. Very clean very accommodating. No worries if you forgot something they have it, no need to rush out to get it, just replace it before you leave. Beds were extremely comfortable, extra pillows and blankets if needed. All kitchen needs you could ask for. Plenty of room to move around without tripping over one another. Games to play. Seriously all the conviences of home. Great location, close to everything. And the owners are very accommodating and easy to get in touch with and talk to. Hope to be able to rent again next year.

Great family home
Jay was very attentive from the moment we booked this property. He was available throughout our stay when we had questions. Easy check in with lockbox, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and perfect fenced in yard. Easy ride to the beach (although must say it’s more for collecting shells than swimming - Parker River Beach is very short and waves are rough - we took the drive to First Encounter beach instead, Bass River beach is the better option if staying local). Easy walk/ride into town with pharmacy, restaurants, mini golf & go carts near by. The house was honestly perfect, well maintained. My only addition would be a fire pit outside. Internet was working well, cable tv was good as well. It initially seemed small by pictures but our family of 5 was quite comfortable there.
Overall it was a great stay & we would definitely stay again

Lovely house in a great location!
My husband and I stayed at this home for a long weekend at the end of September and loved it! The house is amazingly well appointed and we loved being able to use the outdoor grill. The house and yard are both impeccably maintained. What other reviewers have noted about the beds being extremely firm is so true! If you prefer a softer mattress then perhaps bring along a pillow top cover or “egg crate” for each bed along with your sheets and towels. We also brought our own paper products (paper towels and toilet paper) and glad we did - only what remained from the prior guests was in the house. The kitchen is updated and includes more supplies than I’ve seen in any other vacation home. The owners are incredibly responsive and helpful in every way. Location is great! The house is just up the street from the beach and there’s a Stop & Shop within walking distance or a 2-3 minute drive. And there are so many nearby delicious restaurants to choose from! We would absolutely stay at this house again!

Great family vacation in South Yarmouth!
We had a great vacation at Jay and Grace’s home. The house was clean and the perfect size for our family. Being close to the beach was a huge plus; it’s only a 5-10 minute walk down the street. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and other beautiful beaches as well. The outdoor shower at the house was awesome, too!

The Singer home is charmingly decorated and very comfortable. Many thoughtful items were available in the kitchen including spices, paper products, and coffee filters. We like a firm bed so the bed was just right for us. The location was great, close to route 28. We especially enjoyed Smugglers' Beach and pier and Kalmus Beach. We also enjoyed evenings sitting on the benches at the beach at the end of pine Grove Street. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Fabulous holiday home close to the beach
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cape Escape. It was a home from home with every modern comfort. It was great to have use of the beach equipment- chairs/ umbrella etc as well as make use of the bikes. We were a family of five and found the property very spacious. Would highly recommend.

Perfect!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is clean, organized, and thoughtfully stocked. Our family of 6 felt very comfortable and welcome. The location is great for seeing different areas around the Cape. Would love to come here again!

Amazing!
We stayed here for the first time in August 2017. We absolutely loved our stay! The house was well kept, clean, orderly and it had every amenity that you would need or could think of. The kitchen is fully equipped, there were board games, movies, bicycles (check out the Cape Cod Rail Trail!!), beach chairs, beach toys and much much much more! We found it so easy to settle in and feel at home. The back yard was great and the kids enjoyed playing outside quite a bit.
We were within a 10-15 min walk to the beach (depending on whether you're walking with little ones or not) and everything is close by! Grocery store, mini golf and Skipper's restaurant are also within walking distance. There's a great park for kids on the beach across the street from Skipper's.
We will definitely be staying here again next year and we look forward to making many more memories in this awesome home!

Great getaway location
House was clean everything in great working order. Great location central to the cape, short walk to the beach, and a short drive to nearby local beaches. Close to shopping and mini golf.

Great Home in Cape Cod
We had a GREAT time at this lovely residence! It's well equipped with and very spacious for 8 people. It's near great restaurants, beaches and stores, and we enjoyed very much being able to explore the town with the bikes that were provided. We would love to be able to stay at this great place again on future Cape Cod trips.

Lovely home, excellent location!!
This was our first time renting a home through HomeAway and we were pleasantly surprised. The house was clean and well-equipped, comfortable in size for 4 of us plus the occasional extra visitors. Central-air and wi-fi were a plus for my husband and 2 teenagers. Location was perfect, we walked/rode the bikes to the beach, mini-golf and Dairy Queen. We are already discussing renting again next year!

Very clean with a convenient location!
This was our 3rd stay at this house, so it's safe to say we love it there! Perfect for 2 families with small children. We love the central air, cleanliness of the house and how the house has pretty much everything you'll need to make you feel like you are at home. There is mini golf at one end of the street and the beach at the other with ice cream at both!

This house is in a perfect location. It is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower and private deck outside. Having the bikes available to use was a plus and we loved biking down to the beach and Skippers, just down the road. Great rental!

What a wonderful week at Cape Escape!
Our stay at Jay and Grace's home simply exceeded our expectations in every way. It must have been the thousands of "little things" our gracious hosts not only thought about but made sure were completely taken care of so we could arrive, unpack, and immediately start to unwind in this gem of a home. Clean and fresh describes our first impression. "Fully equipped" kitchen is such an understatement because not only are the appliances seemingly brand-new but the dishes, glasses, pots & pans, silverware, and all the fine cutlery just never seem to be found in Cape rentals. Not once did we feel the need to remind ourselves that this home "was just a rental". Details throughout the house remind you that THIS is Cape Cod but without being tired and tacky - the owners definitely have a knack for decorating and design as well as a true love of the Cape. Thank you to our hosts for being so kind and attentive from our very first email to you. Each and every contact was answered quickly AND honestly. Inside and out (the deck, table & chairs, umbrella and gas grill are simply wonderful) you will find to be clean, comfortable, well appointed, and welcoming. This property should go to the top of your list - quick, check now to see if it is available. We are so glad we did!
